In the spirit of Rotary's "Service Above Self," we build partnerships, support Ukraine, and take part in charitable initiatives around the world. RCMIP is a young club (founded in 2025), and this page is an honest look at what we're actually focused on — from Rotary International's global framework to the concrete projects already up and running.
Every project of every Rotary club in the world serves one of these seven official areas in some way.
Training local leaders to prevent and mediate conflict, and supporting long-term peacebuilding in conflict-affected areas.
Expanding access to health care, immunization and treatment, and strengthening local health care capacity.
Providing equitable access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene education.
Improving access to medical care for mothers and children to reduce mortality and disease.
Strengthening communities' capacity to support education and literacy, including for girls and adults.
Creating jobs, supporting entrepreneurs, and strengthening local economies — especially for women.
Protecting the environment through conservation, sustainable resource use, and climate-related projects.
We don't claim to work across all seven areas at once. Honestly, our work is currently concentrated on two things:
Twinning Ukrainian communities with Spanish cities, meetings with Rotarians from the Ukrainian diaspora worldwide, and participation in international Rotary forums — this is our strongest area.
This isn't a separate official Rotary area, but it's the thread running through almost everything we do in practice: helping those affected by Russia's aggression, supporting Ukraine's armed forces, and supporting the initiatives of friendly Rotary clubs.
