Language, work and a network in a new country

Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians now live in Spain, yet only one in five adults under temporary protection works officially. Language, diploma recognition and the lack of a local network remain the main barriers. A Rotary club is exactly that network: entrepreneurs, lawyers, doctors and teachers ready to share experience and contacts.

Programmes

Five programmes

01

Spanish language

Spanish courses and language exchange with Spanish club members — language as the first key to work and friendship.

02

Social and cultural integration

Joint events, celebrations and meetings where Ukrainians and Spaniards meet not as hosts and guests but as friends.

03

Professional integration

Mentors from the right field, references, diploma recognition, training and job placement; business lunches and professional introductions.

04

Support for families and children

Attention to the most vulnerable: families with children, older people, those who have suffered loss.

05

Partnerships in Spain

Cooperation with Spanish schools, NGOs and municipalities so the programmes work systematically.
